My 14th B'Day

I celebrated  my 14th B'Day on may 3 2011. It was a very memorable B'Day for me. My uncle ( Paul மாமா )  and my grandma (அம்மாச்சி )  were here. Three of my fathers close friends with there family  were present. And two priest who were my dad's friends were also present. My friends Waaris and Prem also came. Prem's mother also came. She helped my mum to prepare the dish. The party started at 7.30 pm and i cut the cake. Then i received the gifts. Then we started to eat. Then all the guest left at 9.30. Actually the first person to wish me was my mum, she wished me at 12 am. Then when i woke up on 3rd morning i was little bit excited because this time for the first time i celebrated my B'Day in the school. Since my B'Day is coming in the summer vocation time, i have never celebrated my B'Day in the school. But this time since i had special class for 10th i celebrated my B'Day in the school. Actually it was a nice experience.

Thank you very much for spending your valuable time to read my blog.

My Christmas day speech........

In my school we celebrated Christmas. During that celebration i was asked to give the Christmas message. The following is the one which I spoke on the that day....................

Good morning to one and all present here......

With immense pleasure I am here to share my thoughts on Christmas......

Unlike any other baby the one born that night in Bethlehem was unique in all of history. He was not created by a human father or mother, he had heavenly pre-existence. He is God, the Son-Creator of the universe this is why Christmas is called the incarnation, a word which means "in the flesh". In the birth of Jesus, the eternal, all powerful and all knowing creator came to the earth in the flesh.

Why would God do such a thing? Why would he come as  a  baby, instead of  appearing in power and majesty? Why make himself a true man and lived among us,

It was LOVE! It was necessary, if you are to be saved!

Every year as the Christmas season comes around, we hear a great deal about the real meaning of Christmas. But it is not always clear what the real meaning of Christmas is.

For some the real meaning of Christmas is the warmth and love of our families, celebration of the home. For others the real meaning of Christmas is love for other people and good will toward men. And of course many Christians think the real meaning of Christmas as the birth day of Jesus.

Everything and especially Jesus`s birth have something to do with Christmas. But the full meaning of Christmas is some thing bigger, bigger than the celebration of home and good will toward men, even bigger than the Jesus`s birth. We are not celebrating the fact that some 2000 years ago Jesus of Nazareth was born. We are celebrating the far greatest fact that in Jesus of Nazareth God himself became man.

God`s  purpose in becoming man was to give up his own life, making us better than what we ever thought we could be.

In todays modern, materialistic world, starting from the ordinary man to the richest man and the politicians everybody wants to get fame and wealth quickly through corruptive ways.

Dear friends God came to this world to protect us from sin. Let us take this as the Christmas message and be a sincere, dedicative and a disciplined person.

What i mean, however is that in celebrating Christmas we do not just look back to what happened 2000 years ago when Jesus entered our world. We also look forward to what will happen when Jesus comes again to complete the work of incarnation.

Thank you. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
